You know you've made a good choice when both your husband and 9 yr old say you did a good job picking a late lunch spot on the way back to KC. We got the seasonal burger- Mardi gras burger. Husband said it was pretty good. I got the spinach apple salad with grilled chicken and honey mustard dressing. So good! Wasn't expecting the apples to be like that (usually they're fresh sliced in salads,) but it all tasted great! Kiddo got the 2 sliders and fries. She ate more than half, so I'll count that as a win. I have lived within 5 minutes of this place for 8 months and only wish I had come here sooner! The food was great! Only thing I was a little let down on was the portion size of the pretzel bites appetizer. Could’ve done with a couple more bites. Other than that I was knocked out of the park! Tavern burger was cooked perfectly, and fried chicken tender burger was HUGE. Tasty too. Will definitely be coming back!
I dont know how I've missed this place so many times, I look forward to trying more as I just stopped in for a small snack, everything was delicious, also has a variety of golf experiences. The only thing I wish is that they had corn tortillas for the tacos
I enjoy this menu as something different for a change. Entertaining whether we are hitting balls or just watching. I tried another bread pudding and it was good enough to get again.
I came back and they earned that 5th star! Original post: I got the steak fries and they came out cold. Server took them back and I think they just put them oven for a bit. They were tasty. My wife got the cod with sweet potato fries. She said the sweet potatoes were on point. Especially with honey mustard. The cod. Average. The service was fine.
