We will DEFINITELY be back. Great atmosphere. Just the right level of service and made our orders the way we wanted. I got the nachos with chicken and no cilantro. Probably the best nachos I've eaten. Oh and the amazing grilled on the top was 🔥, I mean wow great heat! My mom got fish tacos. They were excellent, but will order with the sauce on the side next time. Dad got a burger and fries and he wasn't disappointed at all. Had a great time last night at Tavern 44. I love the atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had the fish and onion straws. The dipping sauce was mouth watering. Even better yet my wife had the hot chicken tacos. They looked great. It’s such a fun place and the staff is friendly.
Excellent food & service! The buttermilk chicken tenders & the fish and chips are delicious. Great view, too! Edit: the Mac & Cheese with Steak Bites is to die for!!!
Place is great, staff is great. The guy in the kitchen with the 44 tattoo asked how the food was, my response was that it was great and he told everyone working in there. Bartender was very polite and helpful, very cool place.
Food was good, not great. I feel the 44 tavern has missed the mark here since 44 stone and 44 canteen are such wonderful places. Service was abysmal. Our "server" Andi never checked on us outside of initial ordering of food/drinks and bringing us the check. We had to flag down random servers to get anything we needed. The bare minimum a server should do is ensure drinks are full. We never once were offered refills on our drinks. Not to mention the myriad of other requests that she forgot.
