Got our Samsung Icemaker replaced by David. He was courteous, communicated what was needed easily, and very helpful. Two visits and it was fixed. Only paid for the repair, as long as you proceed with the repair when they diagnose it. The whole team was easy to do business with, by answering the phone and sending text message and email confirmation. Start to finish, easy setup and easy repair appointment. I understand why they have a stellar reputation. Will do business with them again, when needed.
Beware of inflated repair costs and upselling. Atlantic Coast Appliance quoted me $800–$1,200 to fix a broken door latch on my 2-year-old LG washer. Their explanation? They only use original LG parts, and since LG doesn’t sell the latch by itself, they said I needed a whole new door—at a price that also appeared to be marked up about 2×. The next day they tried to sell me a new washer for the same price as the repair. I ended up fixing the machine myself with a $6 part from Amazon and a YouTube video. Technician was great knowledgeable professional. Everyone I worked with from making the appointment to follow up on timing was great. Definitely will use again!
Update: the owner and called and made it right with us. The owner and his wife did not have to do that and it shows their integrity. It sounded like they are addressing the issue with the technician and making sure their standards are upheld. My husband (Kyle) called to make an appointment and the technician Eric walked right into the house didn’t introduce himself and was very rude.
