This company is 1st class! from their office staff, calling to setup an appointment, follow through with a call back once they did some research about the heater manufacture (Rinnai Propane gas furnace - Lockmer was actually able to save me the cost of the parts after checking with manufacture regarding what were covered parts), to their very experienced service technician (he was kind, professional, and thorough), to the ability to call the office and pay the invoice directly with an electronic auto debt. If I could leave zero stars if I would. This company scams you and charges 860 dollars for 1 hour of labor. I spoke to the receptionist two different ones who were unprofessional and rude. They claimed since I signed the proposal it didn't matter that they said it was suppose to be 6 to 8 hours of labor and it took less than one. So the bill for 1 hour of work and supplies was well over 1100 dollars. They laughed and thought it was funny I was upset. I can’t thank the Lockmer team enough for saving my home this winter. My HVAC quit with -30 degrees on the horizon, and the office staff were very attentive with the situation. I spoke with the manager, Dick, who tried to help me diagnose the problem over the phone. When that didn’t work, they sent a technician (Guy) straight away who was very knowledgeable with my brand of furnace. We had a great experience using Lockmer, but this review starts when we first closed on our new house. We noticed a gas leak on a Sunday and left countless messages for Monday morning with various plumbers in town. Lockmer was the only one to return my call. Lockmer plumbing has completed several complex projects at our house: They installed a new water heater, new boiler for our heating system, and made upgrades to our heating system controls so each floor has its own controls.
