We had a vibration sound coming from the furnace. It was a $10 plastic fan blade on the draft inducer motor that had rounded out on the shaft. So instead of rotating it was just vibrating on the shaft. Thank you Allied Services out of Clayton Ohio for your honesty! The McAfee tech was upselling a whole new system 5 minutes in the door. Dishonest business practices. I agreed to have Top of the line Carrier equipment installed in my home and got equipment with nothing but a McAfee badge on them. I asked them to prove to me by the model and serial numbers that I had actually been given the correct equipment and they wouldn’t do it. They acted like I was insulting them for asking them to positively identify what they had installed and I never did get a satisfactory answer. What was I going to do, it was already installed.
