Auon came out to check our water heater and was very informative throughout the visit. He took the time to explain what was going on, answered all of my questions clearly, and gave helpful recommendations without any pressure. We had a vibration sound coming from the furnace. It was a $10 plastic fan blade on the draft inducer motor that had rounded out on the shaft. So instead of rotating it was just vibrating on the shaft. Thank you Allied Services out of Clayton Ohio for your honesty! The McAfee tech was upselling a whole new system 5 minutes in the door. I said no. Then quoted me $1200 for a new draft inducer motor. Oh wait, sign up for our yearly service and the price would be ~$750.?
