I have been with Nusenda for decades. I have had very few issues and they are all resolved quickly and professionally. This week was no different. I went into the Juan Tabo branch to get some documents from my safe deposit box. Richard was assisting me. (I could spend the rest of this review about Richard. I've been trying to open a business account at this branch for weeks. Every time I go down there, they tell me I need something different. The first person gave me a list of everything I needed. I provided all that documentation, but they told that one document was missing a page number so they could not open an account. I have never had so much difficulty trying to do business with a credit union. One would think they could at least get their story straight on what documentation I need. This is an addendum. Never had too many issues. Yes the drive thru is closed, no excuse to be rude or leave bad reviews. This is a very nice location, newly renovated, love the vaulted ceilings and window treatments.
They do a hard inquiry on your credit for a checking account instead of using ChexSystems like 99% of other institutions. The person on the phone pulled my credit without even informing me and without my permission. Do not recommend, unethical business practices.
My wife and I just opened a new account at Nusenda, and it was super easy. Logan helped us out and made the whole process smooth—no issues at all. He was friendly and professional, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience!
