I’ll admit my first visit left me a little underwhelmed. The atmosphere, the staff, and the history here were all wonderful. The salad bar was surprisingly impressive too. But the ribeye I ordered that first night missed the mark. It came out tough, overcooked, and lacking seasoning. To be fair, my friend’s steak was excellent, so I chalked it up to an off night. This is a great old steakhouse very rustic. The little bar is amazing and the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. The whole staff was amazing and very attentive. The all you can eat salad bar was very good and had all kinds of choices! They brought the whole ribeye out and cut my steak in front of me. It was cooked perfectly!!!
My husband and I had high hopes for our anniversary dinner, especially after reading about the restaurant's history and seeing its beautiful atmosphere. Always an amazing experience here. Great service, phenomenal food, and the atmosphere is very neat. I would recommend making a reservation, there is a cool bar area to sit and wait but the experience is better when you’re seated asap.
