I have used A-Abel three times now for plumbing and electrical repairs. They have been honest with me and done satisfactory work all three times.
Several A-Able HVAC folks have looked at my HVAC system, which was installed in March of this year (2019), due to its inability to enter the defrost cycle. After several attempts they relocated the defrost thermostat and now the system appears to be working properly. They call when they're on their way stating the amount of time to arrival. They also call if they're running late and/or need to reschedule. I feel the pricing is competitive and reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.
We use A-Able for almost all of our home repairs and they are outstanding! We just had a water heater put in and the young man who did it was extremely professional and polite. A-Able has started texting us a profile and picture of the service tech that will be coming out to the call and I think that is great! As a housewife who is usually home along when the tech comes, that is very reassuring to me so that I know who is coming and can identify them. I really wish all companies did that. Yes! A Abel! I would recommend Ron that works with A Abel to do any electric I had. He had a low service charge and even an estimate of the cost which No one else had. 49.00 service fee. I'm close not positive. Then went the extra mile to putty a leak I had. I can" believe it myself but five stars!
I had a mouse die in my AC unit...omg the smell...anyway, they had a tech at my house within an hour. The cost was a third of what other companies were quoting. While the tech was here, I asked him about ant control and he called the office to schedule a free consultation for me for the next day! I would highly recommend this company especially because of the lack of attempt to up-sell for additional services. Thank you A-Abel!
We had one of your plunbers in to deal with a leaky toilet in the upstairs bathroom and were told at the time that the plywood base was rotted and needed replacement. We requested an estimate and he said eh would email one. After two plus months of being promised a quote, we called for the third or fourth time we were told that the person who answered the fone that he would get the plumbing manager to investigate. Technician came out in a timely manner. He diagnosed what he thought was the problem and then incorrectly reattached a part of the heater, pinching the ignition wire and subsequently blowing the fuse. The unit was igniting prior to this but he claimed it had an already damaged igniter. He failed to diagnose the cause of issue and further damaged the heating unit. No response from A-Abel.

Sorry we did not meet your expectations. We did diagnose the issue, faulty ignitor. We did refund you the initial charge, at which time we spoke to you. The pinch in the wire would have been fixed for no charge when we came back to replace the ignitor. We did not know you were not going to be engaging us to make the necessary repair, if we had known we would have fixed the pinched wire before leaving.
